Folks!

We've had a little more than a brief hiatus (one, two, six? but who's counting) from the classic geekhack monthly key. However, THE GEEKHACK MONTHLY (or quarterly..) KEY IS BACK!

This month, I designed the key myself to be a riff on the classic

GEEK
HA CK

key. Historically, our first custom GEEKHACK keys had a kerning error such that they read GEEKHA CK
instead of GEEKHACK. I've taken that and lastpilot's entries into ekw808's t-shirt contest to design a key that is both both forward looking, that is, thick dyesub PBT (courtesy the great magician IMSTO!) with a very colorful design, and yet reflective on how far we've come in the last year (we can still screw up our kerning! )).

The Jan/Feb key is available NOW for 5$/ea 4USD/ea! at techkeys.us

please please let me get the two GBs and the first charity auction items out first (!!!)

basically the only thing i'm waiting on at this point is myself to take more product shots. and uh, time. that's kind of important too. as a lot of people who i owe parts etc to know right now, i'm really lagging on shipping at the moment.

one thing i'm trying to do before the store launches is enlist some support in the way of a fulfillment staff member i can pay hourly to get stuff picked, packed and out. i haven't even put the call out for that yet (have friends of friends who are interested, i think).

also keep in mind that products that require a lot of orchestration will be pretty bursty regardless. eg, the learn to solder kits. each kit represents (this is a gross approximation) say 10 hours of machine time, and i've almost killed the standing inventory at edsyn. those will probably stay as a batched item in a group buy style because of lead times.
