Keycap font
« on: Tue, 14 January 2014, 03:25:39 »
Hi guys!
I need help to figure out the the name of the font used on this keycap-set:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/104PBT-white-printed-keycaps-for-Keyboard-Filco-Cherry-/300910270965?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item460fa659f5

The reason for my question is because i have ordered this keycap-set and since it´s ANSI layout and i use ISO i will fix blank keycaps and print the missing symbols by myself (technique to use not decided yet).

Also, if someone have printed their own keycap symbols/legends earlier I would love to hear how you did it!

It's called Bank Gothic. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bank_Gothic

For the future: if you have a clean sample of a font, you can use WhatTheFont to identify it. It's amazingly accurate.

Thats brilliant, thank you guys so much for the quick help! I just love this kind of combined knowledge.
Now i only have to find a simple and sustainable method to get it on there. The link above is kind of awesome but i think that there must be a more simple solution in my case since I´m going for side printed and will have close to zero wear on that surface.
