Switches sound pretty interesting, especially for anyone who likes stiff-ish linear switches: http://deskthority.net/wiki/Fujitsu_Leaf_Spring

I have Tandy 1000EX with this keyboard. It is one of worst feeling keyboards I can ever recall touching. Replacing that awful keyboard with practically anything else is my number one goal for my Tandy.

Are you sure those keycaps are spherical? They look cylindrical to me. They just have an unusual shape.

They are cylindrical, with a funny 'tombstone' kind of shape to them. Since the keyboard feels so dead I guess it is appropriate. :))

I've only owned the older style fujitsu leaf springs, but even these should feel decent enough once you lubricate the sliders properly.

Oh, excuse me: According to HaaTa via IRC, the Tandy 1000HX keyboard looks like the Tandy 1000 keyboard, but is rubber domes instead of Fujitsu switches. So nevermind everyone. :-)

Okay, here’s one that should *actually* have the Fujitsu leaf spring switches:
