FILCO paint mod
« on: Fri, 17 January 2014, 09:36:40 »
Hi guys,
this is our first attempt at a keyboard, we usually do things like laptops/computers but with our love of keyboards we've been wanting to do this for a long long time. We went with a pearlescent white with red blood splatter, pretty hard to capture the iridescent effect but we're quite happy with the result and will probably do another one soon.

That's really impressive, it has a nice thick look that kind of resembles actual blood.

We haven't really thought about prices yet, but we can definitely do a 60% board. To be honest i m more concerned about the shipping costs at this point, Ill sort this out over the weekend and get back to you on price

Very nicely done!

The BroBots complement it perfectly :)
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
