Do you guys think this is in response to CM announcing their Topre/MX board?
Gotta sell as much of these as they can before CM puts them out of bidness.

Possibly although I think they had these lowered a while back also. But I'm wondering if CM will have 55g....

Yeah, I'm in the same boat... + I'd get a $90 bill from customs after $60 shipping from EK, so it wouldn't be cheap after all... :/

Seems legit... Cheap shipping for keyboard stuff is sadly not a perk us non-Americans have.

I believe you may be able to contact them and inquire about other shipping options that may be cheaper. I know they offered this on another item so it might be worth  a shot if they have something you want.

The only Topres that have not had a price reduction at EK are HHKB Type S, its overdue for a price break.

I hope this happens, I'm considering buying a type-s pretty soon, but it looks like it would be cheaper for me to buy through amazon.jp and have it proxy'd here.

Off-topic, but I just went to their site and looked at the lubes.

I have used the original high viscosity for stabilizers and love it. One tube has done dozens but I am almost out.

Is the M2 low viscosity one good for switches, does anybody have experience after weeks or months of real use?

Do you apply it straight from the tip?

Thanks!

No, it's for stabilizers. If you want cheap lube you can go with Dupont Teflon lubricant or Super lube oil and grease mixture to get good consistencies.

I thought superlube wasn't recommended?

I have some Krytox that I have not used yet. I was just curious before I order more M-1, the syringe with curved tip makes application particularly easy.

If it's anything like the EK stabilizer lube, that syringe will apply far too much. You really want to be using a small brush to evenly apply small amounts at various lube points.

If you add the vocal HHKB users, RealForce users, FC660C users, and even Type Heaven users, that would cover at least 25% of GH members, if not more!

Great choice! A lot of people buy the 55g version, so if this one is too light you can always buy that; and sell this one. But me myself, am going to choose the 45g eventually; as well.

Post photos when you get it!  :thumb:
