shortest spacebar you can buy/order/make

Looking at SP's spec sheet, the shortest spacebar they make is 4.5x.  Are there any other sources that can do spacebars in 3x, 3.5x, or 4x?  Thanks.

what profile?? 7bit's went crazy with spacebars in R5 but they are SA profile.

pretty much any profile.  As it is hard to find the right length, length is more important than profile.  What lengths are available in SA profile?

I don't remember. The original thread is closed. its one of the flat profiles by SP and u can get it in their warehouse

if you're talking about the one from unicomp_lover or something rather,

it wasn't a 'spacebar', it was a 3x key (or w/e the proper length is).  the significance being that the spacebar was concave like any other key and NOT convex like a spacebar is supposed to be.

Are you making something custom? Why not use a 2.75 since it is super easy to get a blank right shift. I have that size as space on Japanese Cherry G80 keyboard which is same as right shift in shape and I don't think it's bad at all.

Hi Ivan!  Yes, something custom.  I thought about the 2.75x right shift.  It is just that the sharp edge on the shift key would hurt the thumbs because it is not convex.  Ivan, do you know if GMK makes shorter spacebars?

I was told the shortest spacebar profile they have is 6x. If you use Cherry key, it's really not bad at all using the right shift as space since Cherry B row isn't too sharp... and you could always put it on upside down.

That's true, upside down is not as sharp.  Now, I need to find blank 2.75x shift keys :-)
