NZXT White Ducky Shine 3
« on: Fri, 24 January 2014, 18:41:25 »
Didn't see a thread here on it.  Looks like NZXT is taking pre-orders on a white Ducky Shine 3 for $150:
http://store.nzxt.com/product-p/kb-shine.htm

The email I got about it only mentions red switches so I'd presume that'll be the only switch available at release.

To the best of my knowledge that's the first white Shine 3 I've seen.  It's pretty nifty looking if you ask me.  And it doesn't look like it has any NZXT branding that I can see.

The only NZXT branding is the metal badge at the bottom. Apparently only 150 of white and black shine 3s will be made.

No tkl , no sale

Sadly this is true. I wish they would do something like only produce TKL for a series to make it more popular. More money saved for them, as they can pretty much charge full-size price but have to make less, and more of us satisfied. Even having it universally available as an alternative would be a great solution, but alas I won't be considering the Premier because of it.

Are those Black with Red LEDS also for preorder in the US?  I am looking to get that exact keyboard with browns but don't see where they mention switches at all.

The NZXT ducky keyboards are only available in red switches.

Apparently it'll come with a braided cable as well.

I've been told be the UK rep that there are hundreds of white shine 3s on the way that are Ducky branded. Think it must be an exclusive deal for a certain amount of time.

2014 should be the year of MX Whites. Ducky Yellow's already starting the trend :thumb:

A green keyboard with a green plate, green cable and green switches would be green great :D
