The price has definitely crept up there now. We are already at $250 with a day and a half still to go.

Since there doesn't seem to be any bids on it, pretty sure that's just the starting price he set it at....

Blatant shill bid.

How does something with 0 bids have a blatant shill bid again?  High ass starting point, but can you blame them considering the current market?

You're right. I didn't see the zero there. Still think that's what's going on with a lot of these though.

I was going by this post:

After you list an item on ebay you are free to change any of the terms of the auction - price, description, shipping, etc, until the first legitimate bid comes in.

As soon as someone has put down a valid bid, the listing is "locked down" and you cannot change anything. You may be able to add pictures, but I think that's it.

There have been several times that I have changed something, particularly prices, both up and down, after I see how the market is moving. If I had listed something at $20 and saw a similar item sell at $100, I might well be tempted to raise my starting price to $50 or $80.

That's the message. That's the whole message. Say that every day, not just to reach America's frustrated young white men, but people of every age, race, and gender.

You can also answer questions.
But you're right. Perhaps putting in an early bid isn't really benig nice to the seller. Then again, an SSK is going to gut early bids no matter what.

You can't. I ran into this problem last time I listed something...

Oh, I suck at Ebay. No wonder it didn't have bids on it yet. :)

I think the biggest reason for no bids on this item is the poor rating of the seller.  That makes me a little wary.  You never know if sellers with such poor ratings will even ship the item.

On the other hand, they do offer a return period.
Wish I had some gif or quote for this space, but I got nothing

I didn't see a poor rating for the seller. His feedback was good.

I actually didn't see any feedback. Maybe that and the high starting price are why there are no bids.

You guys are awfully hard on new sellers. We all had zero feedback, at some point.

That is often where good deals can be found, but the risk is greater.

Yup, now I see it. I think starting the bidding at the $250 range may have been a bad idea.

My ebay feedback is still pretty low as well. I sold a pair of shows once for $0.99 and shipping came to about $23. You really take a loss being a beginner at ebay.
