After I failed hacking the Leopold controller ( http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=54222.0 )

I just switched the 45g lame domes with the cool 55g ones (from a Realforce)

Now the leopold is one of the best keyboards I've ever had :) Unfortunately it has an actuation point a pinch too high (closer to the top compared to the realforce)... so basically the Realforce 55g is still my favorite, but I like the leopold for the compact size.

Nice but why...

Can't you find springs sold separately?
TOO MANY KEYBOARDS THAT I COULD NOT COUNT! BUT I AM STILL USING MY MODEL F77

I prefer compact layouts (=less hand movements)... and despite... why not?

they are not the springs, it's the rubber domes that make the keyboard stiffer.

BTW I discovered why the left control is wobbly on the realforce.

The slider is castrated.
