Corsair Vengeance K65
« on: Thu, 13 February 2014, 22:03:01 »

Okay, I don't care for Cherry MX Red switches; but I find the Corsair Vengeance K65 compelling. I may have to get one; it's just something a keyboard guy has to do. There's no rational explanation apart from 'a guy's got to do...'

Anyone have experience on the K65? If I kind of like it, I may have to mod the switches with heaver springs; if I can do this without completely removing each switch. Any assistance/opinions/constructive critiques will be greatly appreciated. By the way, I'm not about to concede my 87U/55-gram KBs to take on a K65; it'll be an addition to my lean keyboard lineup.

You will have to desolder each switch, I'm pretty sure.

Really? That may be more of a mod than I'm willing to do. I suppose I could try to get into MX Red switched as an alternative to my Topres, if I can adjust.
It's such a simple yet smartly designed keyboard, at least to my eyes. Thanks of the information.
