Used Leopold FC660C ($125 BIN)
« on: Wed, 19 February 2014, 08:56:20 »
Found this today FC660C with $125 BIN.

Someone just use the BIN, if you bid it will definitely go higher.

Dammit! This is the only Topre board I'd ever consider buying (cuz it's cheap and so am I) yet I don't have $125 to spare at the moment...

Amazing find, I'm sure whoever gets this will be very happy with it.

Someone buy for me plz? Pretty plz? I'll give you lotsa logic...  :blank:

I know. Even if the keys are a bit worn, who cares. Solid feel, well built, 45g domes :)

Great Topre board.

So tempted. I've decided that I want one of these, but I really want the blank one. Great deal for someone though, $137 shipped compared to almost $200 from EK after shipping.

Just buy it, you won't regret it. Average selling price is $160 shipped.

I'm sure I wouldn't :). The $20 isn't a huge deal though, and I don't need any more keyboards at the moment. I'll get one eventually!

Actually $160 was a bit low for an average, maybe $165? I'd rather think this is a good Topre board $60+ less then EK's price :thumb:

Did you start the bidding?

You weren't going to get it for less than the BIN.

It was my bid and I did it for the LOL.

Looks like it has some wear on the WASD keys.

Yeah the wear is very common. Still a very good board for the ... current price (eye roll)

:)

It sold for pretty low, if you ask me. For what you get, anything below $150 shipped for this thing is a steal. The printing of the legends is unfortunate though :( It starts wearing like after a few hours of use.

am totally not convinced that this is such a great buy.

you said the keys start wearing out after a few hours?

I will never understand the enthusiasm of the Topre guys.

I was exaggerating... I honestly don't know how the printing of the legends on the keycaps has anything the Topre switch itself :P
