Does anyone know if it is possible to remove the top of the switch on the current Truly Ergonomic (TECK) keyboards without unsoldering them and removing them from the plate?

I've never heard of any OEM keyboard that had a plate that allowed for removable switch tops, so I would say fairly definitely no you can't.

SpAmRaY's guess was correct. The plate for the key switches does not have the cutouts to allow the top of the switch to be removed.
