I gotta admit, the full toxic keyset is growing on me. I was initially only interested in this GB because of the Bros, but the more I look at pictures and hype for the full set the more I am liking it.

My only real issue with them at this point is that they are ABS caps, correct? What is the wear life like on SP ABS? How quickly would those caps "shine" compared to stock Filco caps? My Filco caps were already getting shiny after 3-4 months of moderate to heavy usage which is why I bought the BangGood PBT caps.

You'll run into the same issue with these caps. Different people have different experiences with shine though. I've heard that body chemistry, cleanliness, etc. can all affect how long it takes, along with actual use of course. The fastest key to shine is usually the spacebar though, and Bunny is offering a spacebar pack that you could pick up to replace it when it gets shiny.

I think most people don't have issues with shine from these group buys because they tend to buy multiple keysets, switching them out before they have a chance to shine.

To piggyback off what Riotonthebay said, you'll notice some shine on them and it will differ person to person. However since these are double shot caps you won't really notice much of a color difference like you would on stock caps. Like on my stock rosewills some of the text was clearly wearing off after a couple months but I've used my red alert 2.0 caps ever since I got them with no noticeable color change. I clean them about every month for dirt and such and there is a lot of shine but I don't really mind because they are still colorful if that makes sense.

My wife who is bad at washing her hands, AND has hyperhydrosis (extra sweaty palms and feet) put some decent shine on a Signature Plastics DCS set in about 6 months. However she is the extreme side of keyboard wear I'd say. It was her work keyboard where she is typing a considerable amount throughout the day in addition to her other issues. I'd say most people would take around a year or longer to put slightly visible shine on SP keys. You also have to take into consideration that shiny doubleshot keys are not as bad as shiny lasered or pad printed ABS. The legend will always be visible and you will only experience a slight texture change over time.
