We should start selling our vintage keyboards on Etsy

Etsy.  Seriously.  It only has 3.5% fees, and there is a category for vintage items over 20 years old.  Plus, I imagine the site is more friendly to sellers, considering it's a marketplace for people that want to sell their handmade goods.  Just a thought.

It just wouldn't get the same exposure. That's why people sell on ebay - they know they'll get plenty of bids if the item is desirable.

Paypal fees are 3% AFAIK.

And I guess a little bit of seller/buyer protection is nice, but if you're only selling one thing, why spend the time to make an Etsy store?

But if we all make the transition, it will get exposure.  Join the revolution!

if you start selling your beam springs and kishsavers on etsy, I guarantee you all geekhackers will rush in and bid.
