Kinesis Classic Issue
« on: Wed, 05 March 2014, 20:21:10 »
Hi all,

My primary Kinesis Classic has sadly stopped working.  Unfortunately it is well out of warranty.  The symptom is all 4 of the lights constantly blink and no input is received by the computer.  I have tried the F7 hard reset but it has not helped.  Digging up an old manual it mentions that the likely hood is the main board is probably fried.  Anyone have any suggestions of things to try or been able to purchase a main board from Kinesis?

Have tried different 3 computers, and both PS/2 and PS/2 -> USB with one of the adapters from Clicky that supports just keyboards.  Same symptom regardless of setup.

The people who work at Kinesis are very friendly. It'd be worth contacting them to ask for help.
