$50 with shipping and missing hard-to-find top row function keys.
From the US Constitution, Article 1, Section 8 :

The   Congress   shall have Power
To declare War,  grant Letters of Marque and Reprisal, and make Rules concerning Captures on Land and Water;
To provide for calling forth the Militia  to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections and repel Invasions;

Still not bad. Mind - I don't say fantastic. Just not bad. And you can get missing keycaps printed at Unicomp.

The replacement keys from Unicomp will be very different, you should order an entire top row if you care.

This will require a Teensy, I just don't understand the appeal of an M-122. Spend 3x that amount for an F-122 and you would really have something to love.

Oh yeah... I'd love to get Model F 122-key... Like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/IBM-Model-F-122-key-Clicky-Keyboard-6110345-November-1984-RARE-/191092398160?pt=PCA_Mice_Trackballs&hash=item2c7dfe9850

But it's already 91 bucks and there are still two hours to go. Besides, it costs 60 bucks just to get it to my country :)

That's a reasonable price. I say bid $106 and see if you can get it. Anything less than $200 shipped for a Model F to Ukraine is worth thinking about.

But that said... don't you have more things to worry about? Like getting that passport, saving up hard currency, and a car all ready to make a rush to the Polish border if things go downhill?
Most of the modding can be done on your own once you break through the psychological barriers.

This is silly overpriced. Nobody in their right mind would pay that much for a terminal M 122

I paid $16+$15 shipping for my terminal M122 and I think that was a rip off

Well... things ain't so bad now. Well, I don't say they exactly bright, but I'll wait about that Pland thing. Besides, I'm living almost on Eastern border.

Ahem.

Anyway, I missed my chance :) It went for 110$, so you were right.

Well, I'm planning to get my own Model F someday, but I more fond of AT keyboard.

I found one, but I think seller is crazy.

P.S. It sounds silly, but... why the hell I couldn't find this item just my search? I tried "IBM Model F", and it wasn't there, I swear :)

There has never been a definitive answer to the question: what is an M-122 worth relative to a standard Model M?

a lot more
a little more
the same
a little less
a lot less

Personally, I would say: a lot less

but that is just me, and I have a "thing" for wanting straight-ANSI layouts.

I bought a M122 to stuff a raspberry pi in it. But there are huge downsides:

1. ISO layout
2. Only terminal
3. Super common
4. Have to clean 122 keys

I don't know exactly how the Raspberry Pi works, but the ISO layout is easily changed to ANSI if you are doing a bolt-mod, and doesn't the Raspberry Pi output to USB?

What I was going to do was cut up the cable, connect that to pro micro, cut up case for room for a self powered USB hub and a rasberry pi, then:

put power cable through original hole into USB hub. Connect USB cable from hub to rasberry pi. Connect pro micro to pi. Then boot it up

So basically you are going to made "PC in a keyboard"? Like old Commodore, Spectrum, etc?

But why Raspberry Pi? You can get cubieboard. It's better.

M122 is worth somewhat less than an standard M IMO, although for me ISO layout is a very definite plus (I want my ISO enter key back!). Besides, the ISO->ANSI conversion is fairly easy, especially if you have the necessary parts floating around.

Yeah, ISO layout is the best. Although I like ISO variation with big-ass Enner key too.

**** big-ass enter. backslash key (\) gets moved to retarded places (like to the left of a shortened backspace key). Besides, it's not spec-compliant that way. And I like my gear to be spec compliant.

Well, it just matter of preferences. Now I have keyboard with ISO layout (English variant) and love it. Enter is big, but not too big. But almost all other keyboards I used were ANSI. Oh, bit the first one was ISO with J-shaped Enter.
