[FS] Full Hand ErgoDox with Clears and aluminum top plate
« on: Tue, 11 March 2014, 17:17:41 »

Fully functional and tested. I've added an aluminum top plate and M3 acorn nuts, and each bolt has a washer on both ends. Keycaps are blank black PBT, mix of DCS and DSA. I have a full set of each, so I can put whatever combination of DCS and DSA on the board you want. Right hand also has a pinhole for accessing the bootloader button on the Teensy.

Comes with TRRS cable, Mini USB cable. There's currently some dust in between the acrylic plates, but I'll make sure to clean it out before shipping.

$265 shipped, CONUS only. SOLD!

Why am I selling this? Well, oddly enough for some reason my right hand doesn't like the full-hand style ErgoDox case and starts getting sore after about 15 minutes. So this hasn't been getting much use.

Oh, and I want another 55g 87U :)

Um... his right hand didn't like it.

I'm not really clear why, but methinks the keyboard doesn't have a suitable wrist rest or isn't really compatible with wrist rests. It's probably quite painful to rest your arm on a sharp acrylic edge.

That said, the value of the materials that went into this keyboard makes it a fantastic value. It should fly off daerid's table as quickly as discount-couponed delivery pizza flies off the stove and into the mouths of college kids.
Most of the modding can be done on your own once you break through the psychological barriers.

Yep I actually can't use wrist rests, my palms are way too sensitive as well. This is really an amazing price for an assembled ergodox with aluminum tops :P.

Good luck!

I'm not exactly sure why my right hand didn't like it, either. I just know that I don't have that problem with the Classic case. I want to be clear though: there's absolutely nothing wrong with the unit.

Yes, it's a great price, but I'm not taking too much of a loss. MassDrop accidentally sent me these plates and then told me I could keep 'em, so I'm passing the savings on to YOOOOOUUUU!!!!
