Anybody with Choc Mini 2M? Having wireless problems.
« on: Tue, 11 March 2014, 18:18:13 »
I recently purchased a Choc Mini 2M with dual USB/wireless function from qtan. It's an amazing keyboard and it ran flawlessly for 2 weeks, but now I can't connect via wireless. One morning the wireless just stopped working. I've tried different computers to no avail. When I plug in the USB receiver into a new USB slot Windows 7 installs the drivers properly, so I don't think it's the USB receiver. However, when I switch the keyboard on I get no reception and the blue LED under the Esc button flashes on and off in about 2 second intervals. I'm pretty sure this is an indication of the keyboard trying to find a wireless connection. Connected via USB the keyboard works flawlessly.

Anyways, just wondering if any 2M owners have experienced anything similar. Maybe I'm missing something like a combination of keys to "unlock" the board or something. Also, are there official Choc drivers I can try? I've looked on their website to no avail but maybe they're floating around the Chinese series of tubes.

Any luck solving your problem? I've been looking to try one since my Plum MX96 has similar problems with the wireless connectivity. To be fair, I never really understood the pairing/wireless connection process because the manual wasn't in English. Ahck, can't have wireless + backlit + trouble-free usability yet it seems:(
