Keytronic domes are reportedly pretty good.

Not having tried one, I find it hard to imagine something nicer than Cherry clears, Model F and Model M which I am using nowadays in rotation.

But what about this guy,

Is it rubber dome, or Cherry MX like some kinesis? I am interested in trying out this for the layout and layout only. Who knows, if I like the layout, I might eventually become an ergodox fan which I currently am not.
Most of the modding can be done on your own once you break through the psychological barriers.

AFAIK all Kinesis freestyles are rubber domes. I have the Freestyle 2 and it's actually quite nice for domes. The keys make a soft, almost wet sound that is very pleasant and they feel good. However, you'll definitely need the VIP3 stand. Personally, I wouldn't pay much for that used Freestyle 1 by itself.
Please consider carefully before you decide to comment, for Jesus.

I don’t like the Kinesis Freestyle much (either the layout or the switches). But YMMV.

I think this one is white Alps, in case anyone is interested in that.
