Hi from Georgia
« on: Mon, 31 March 2014, 04:49:51 »
I recently tried a friends mechanical keyboard a month ago and i'm in love. I've been lurking here since and I can't take in enough. I never new there was so much to keyboards and how custom they could be. I don't quite have the money for a new one right now. I've been stopping by thrift stores everyday in hopes of finding an older one. Anyways, I'm sure you'll be seeing a lot more of me   :)

The state of Georgia? Or the country?

What keyboard was it that you tried? Maybe you'll find something, but it won't be the same, or as good.

The state Georgia. He had a tt esports poseidon. I figured it wouldn't be as good, but I'm sure it would beat the rubber dome one i'm using now.

If you don't know much about mechanical keyboards, some suggestions: get a keycap puller, and take it with you. http://elitekeyboards.com/products.php?sub=access,keytools&pid=leokp
If you find something you think might be good, but not sure, pull a cap and post a picture here asking. Someone will let you know.
