I made one to look at funny posts by people but I only checked it three times and the third time the people I followed either stopped posting or were inactive. And that was a few years ago.

I still don't get twitter for people who arnt famous at least in some way... Like who the **** cares what I think about in general? No one, other than my better half... And even she wouldn't need to subscribe to a micro blog of mine...

I have a twitter purely to follow Internet people I like and websites I follow in order to get quick updates on things, also for contacting and following support networks so I know if (for example) PSN is going to be down tonight or something

I guess I mean, when ever I hear about Americans talking about twitter they seem to use it instead of Facebook, which is just something outside of Americans I've not really seen and don't really understand (my gf is Italian and so i know a fair few Italians and non of them use twitter instead of Facebook like I've heard a lot of Americans use it)... Idk just seems like an odd thing to use for friends and family etc

oh I see... well I would never use it for friends/family... and I don't use Facebook either. It's a great tool to stay in contacts with interesting people though. I know it is used a lot by actors and singers, but I don't follow any of them.
