[WTS] Black Blank Model M
« on: Mon, 31 March 2014, 16:43:46 »
69653-0

A 42H, painted black, the case is not original to this M, and pictured is the cable's exit. I've used it plenty and that's never actually been a problem. The rivets are in great shape. This comes with a fully black blank set of Model M caps. Shown are pictures of the set as well as the keyboard. $55 shipped. Or $100 USD to Canada.

Would these be more in-demand if they were all simply black blanks?

Current set sold, when I get the black dye I ordered I'll have two sets of black blanks for $30 up.

Bump. I'll totally take pictures of the two model M's currently without keys once their sets are dyed if someone buys these.

I can also dye the rainbowish set all the way black if someone wants them that way, I just figured it would be worth to see if anyone was interested as they are.

A little bit expensive imo.

$55 with shipping included for a full black Model M is kind of nice.
The paint job really isn't that bad which I would consider something that adds value.
I don't know shipping prices are in the US, but for Canadians, if we ever got free shipping, we would be all over this.

Shipping is $15 for a Model M. Not sure why this guy is threadcrapping when he lists stuff like this http://puu.sh/akkcD/f5d23456f9.png

Keycaps alone makes this a good deal. This is basically $40 when you don't include shipping.

No kidding, I thought I'd have a bidding war. The keycaps are dyed and the color won't wear. This is a good price for an unlooked-at and dirty Model M, let alone a clean one with condition of the rivets known. Then there's also the paint and dye.

If the USPS didn't charge so much to send it there it probably would be. I in fact had another Canadian contact me about it, but the shipping was too much for him. I'd do $100 USD shipped to Canada.

But yeah, given the price it's already at if it keeps not selling I'll probably just keep it and have a 3rd model m.

Yeah, I just don't really want to spend more than 40$ on a Model M. I think USPS has flat rate shipping. I am in US so it would be much cheaper than Canada.
