Honestly, I think you need to rethink your shopping strategy.
The "Digital Research" one, if it's the one on Amazon, is prehistoric-- it mentions "Suppoers Windows 95" as a big feature.
The one you picture will need a converter to work on any machine other than an ancient (pre-iMac) Macintosh.
The CST is nice and competent, but expensive. Of the ones you suggest,, it and the Expert Mouse are the only ones that are remotely current products.
Others to consider: Sanwa models (they offer both a thumb trackball and a symmetric one; you can get them from Japanese sellers off rakuten.com for decent prices). Logitech M570 (thumb style, wireless) or Marble Mouse (symmetric, no wheel), and the various Kensington products.
