WTB: PokerX
« on: Tue, 29 April 2014, 19:01:42 »
Looking to buy a PokerX with either blue or green switches.

I'll buy anything from stock to a fully built board, and anything in between.
- stock or modded poker x
- bare pcb w/ no switches

I have some of what you're looking for, but I'm not sure it's a good fit.

I have a Pure PCB, I have MX-Blue switches and I have a set of Pure key caps, but they are ABS, not PBT.  :-[ In case you're interested, the prices are below:

     $25 = Pure PCB
     $16 = 65 MX-Blue switches
$05 = Pure Stock Key Cap Set
     ------------------------------------
     $46 total

A better fit might be the Poker X intelli78 is selling.

yeah, I spoke with him about his, but I'm unsure if I want to spend the extra $50 on buying switches to swap in. ( I really wanna give clears a go )

Though I guess it would be quite a bit cheaper buying switches here than on online vendor sites.

I'm just trying to avoid having to spend so much for another extra keyboard.

I'll also consider a poker pure with blues/greens if it has an aftermarket cap set for it (pbt only)

If  you have one for sale, please PM me with your price and a brief description.

Payment would be via paypal, and shipping would be to Texas.

I know this may not help much but you can buy a TG3 Data911 off ebay new for 25 shipped.  Comes with a cool splash guard (acts as rubber dome overlay that goes between caps and switches...amazing..) and pcb mount blacks.  Also double shot abs caps but they're kinda weird profile.   Nice for a beater board I guess.

I bought 3.  2 for switches, 1 for the third splash guard /drool

Edit: meant this as a good source for pcb mount blacks (or for just the springs if you were going to mod a blue board.

well, this keyboard I have in mind will specifically be an ipad keyboard. due to power draw reasons, the poker 2 and many other mini keyboards won't work, but the poky X will.

I don't have blues or greens, but if you want, I can replace the red switches with browns from a Compaq MX 11800. No extra charge.
Please consider carefully before you decide to comment, for Jesus.
