I guess they are assuming people won't be typing letters very much with it.  For some applications, that is not a bad assumption.

I guess this thing was intended for accounting or something like that. Then the layout starts making some sense at least, although it does look weird. It obviously fails miserably as a regular all-purpose keyboard.
Hardware in signatures clutters Google search results. There should be a field in the profile for that (again).

This message was probably typed on a vintage G80-3000 with blues. Double-shots, baby. :D

It makes sense to put a backspace above the number pad, but other than that, it's horrid.

Only reason I'd ever buy it is to harvest the switches and/or Glidepoint. Layout is horrendous.

It has an ALPS glidepoint touchpad... possibly ALPS switches as well?

On a sidenote my evolution has the same trackpad...  It's not useful for anybody with a resolution above 800x600 FWIW
Can't get enough of them ALPS

How would the screen resolution affect the usability of the touchpad?

It gets really finicky to use when the screen resolution balloons...  At higher resolutions it's very sluggish and it kind of "jerks" around the screen...

The punctuation would take a little getting used to and the odd arrangement of rectangular keys below the arrow keys is questionable, but overall it seems curiously well thought out. Most hand movement is forward and back, very little side to side movement. Seems efficient. I like it.

Looks like it would be useful for a cash till which may occasionally be required for looking up products/names and entering details rarely. Otherwise it is painful to look at.

Don't let Logitech see it. They will use it as a prototype for the G19 Mk II.

It would be neat to have as an oddity. Not really too useful for any home computing jobs though.
