I've never seen any ALPS that look like that before... It has a rounded case unlike the standard ALPS "squared" casing and there are no notches on the edges of the switch...

That doesn't look like an Alps switch. Omron maybe?

Edit: According to this page it's an SMK or "Monterey" switch.

Ah ok. I was kind of wondering why they didn't have the notches, I figured maybe it was some temporary design or something.

Either way, I'm pretty curious as to what the switch is actually like. Not curious enough to buy it though..heh

That may have been the kind of Chicony 'board that I once typed on years ago and found to be somewhere between BS and Cherry blues. Not a big fan of the small backspace though.
