Free shipping! What a deal. It definitely costs money to ship things, so we have to take that into consideration when looking at the price.

Can Unicomp make these?

Could be the next Cherry red Esc.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Shipping to the United Kingdom is $16.38.  That puts it out of reach for me.

I believe the key is from the Wordperfect Edition SSK.
It's from the IBM Personal Typing System boards (1394618 101-key and 1392464 84-key with the DisplayWrite layout... also the WfW2 layout).

Fairly certain that was listed somewhere her as another "great find".

Seems like no-one bought it last time, so it was relisted :))

it said so in the listing, but it is a great help to have included the model numbers here. Thanks for looking them up.

I really want to get a 1394618 now.

Maybe the seller is a certain immigrant from Chile...

There is an SSK up now with the complete WP keyset for the low low price of $750.  So if you figure $500 for the Exit / Exc keycap alone, thats only $250 for the rest of the board.....

It's the SSK for the IBM Personal Typing System with keycaps designed for the subset of DisplayWrite used by that system.
