Excellent example from what's shown, though no internal shots provided.  I have one of this vintage and it's especially firm and loud.  I love it.

Cheers,

The label says, "World\'s best... guaranteed."

What would happen if I bought one and sent them a nasty letter that read:

"1391401.  I want my money back."

Nice looking board... I have two of them already, plus I'm trying to eliminate some of my bigger boards like that one, or would probably snag it myself.

This post brings back the memory of two traumatizing auctions that I missed last week. An ebayer listed two 1390131s as "vintage IBM 101 key clicky keyboards" starting at $15.00. I managed to get an '88 1391401 from him for $10, because you wouldn't find the auctions through a typical "ibm model m" search.

Long story short, there were two days left with no bids on the 131s and for no reason he switched both auctions to buy-it-now and someone stole them for $30 plus actual shipping. I had emailed him earlier to express my interest and to see if he would combine shipping, so I was kind of put off that he didn't offer them to me first. They came with the original cables, and one even had a plastic cover.
Here they are 1 and 2.

Sorry to rant, but I literally lost sleep over this.
Looking back on it now, at least I got a nice price on one old M.
