« on: Tue, 27 May 2014, 17:11:51 »
I've got an older piece of hardware that I need 2 SD cards for in either 2Gb or 4Gb capacity, anyone have a couple they want to let go for cheap?

I'll take care of you for shipping prices :] We have some outdated cards we don't need at work.

i have a garmin that won't read SDHC cards.

Should've expected that. I was wondering what piece of ancient junk that could be, that Spamray could still want to use it and which could only take max 4GB. It didn't sound like a smartphone so I was thinking he wanted to give his kids an old digital camera or music player.

My digital camera, a Panasonic Lumix that I love and has served me faithfully for 5+ years, will not see an SD card larger than 2GB.

It is an exceptional camera that I use every day, and it still takes excellent photos (Leica lens, video too!).
From the US Constitution, Article 1, Section 8 :

The   Congress   shall have Power
To declare War,  grant Letters of Marque and Reprisal, and make Rules concerning Captures on Land and Water;
To provide for calling forth the Militia  to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections and repel Invasions;

When I used smart phones about 3-4 years ago mine came with a 16 gig card.

age may make a difference

SpamRay's kids are at the age when they go on family vacations and kids will make a lot of noise unless you give them things to distract them.

My experience is that a family vacation is never a vacation for the parents.

Since SpamRay is looking for stuff for a camera to give his kids in June, it's obvious the Spam Family is going somewhere. Maybe he'll even buy some Spam to eat along the way, because every damn family friendly place (Six Flags, Disney, etc.) have ridiculously overpriced stuff to con hard working American families.

??? its for a toy...not a camera.  we kinda just went off topic on the camera angle.
