Those on MK are $59.00 shipped.

On massdrop at the cheapest drop, it's $58.99 + $5 shipping for coloured and $10 less for WoB

So it's $5 less on MD for any option.

MD and MK both need to profit. But both bought the caps from vortex for the same price, and each are profiting a certain amount.

But MK already has them on hand and will ship Priority. MD has to wait, and if you're in CA, you pay taxes

Which comes to the point, if GH had a GB for these, we could cut out the middlemen

I highly doubt you would save enough to justify a group buy and have to go through all the hassle. Besides trying to get MOQ etc.

It's just funny how things sell on massdrop because of exposure but sit in stock at web stores because nobody knows they are available.

Quality control is pretty shoddy on these sets. I just got my black on white set from MK.com and they were all scratched up, and the keys were all scattered and out of place in the box. Jixtr over on OCN.net said he had similar issues with his bi-color blue/white set when he ordered from MK.com, except some of his keys were yellowed iirc.

KBtalKing is the brand on Poker, Pure, Race,... and Vortex is the OEM so yes, they must be the same

pbt doubleshotting has serious issues with quality due to how it deals with cooling

Have the pink on white on my Watermelon board.

Love them.  Totally worth the price, especially when you pop them on any clear-stem switch.

KBtalKing = KBT(Created by an Asia famous geeker), called KB"T" just because it is Taiwan brand.
In opposition, KB"C" (the full name is "keyboard to cheer you up" originally, which comes from China ),
and now this brand is modified to iKBC.

About Vortex, you can consider it as an ODM or studio, they received geeker's design ideas and implement them into real.

People are confused with their products just because keyboards from KBT(some of, not all) and KBC are both produced by Vortex.
