« on: Sat, 07 June 2014, 20:48:48 »
I'm having a rough time figuring out what the difference between these two 122 key Model Fs are.

Can anyone help me out?

I have had several 6110xxx Model Fs and have never seen any difference in any of them. Plus, my highest number, a 6110668, is my oldest one.

With respect to sale value, there sholud be no difference.

There is some evidence that the 611066* (of which the most common is likely the 6110668) came with a different (or older?) terminal than the 611034* (*345, *346, and *347 are all "known" examples which I think vary in their keycaps slightly)

Sadly, I have not bee able to gather and better (or more concrete) data than this. Best of luck on your market research and sale.

I have three F-122's: 6110345, 6110668 and 1385151.  And I've seen 6110347.  They are almost identical with minor variations in key labels.  I think 611034*'s all are essentially the same.  On the other hand, 6110668 and 138515 have a set of 8 DIP switches on the bottom.  I'm not really sure what they do, if anything.  I left the ones on 1385151 alone and got it to work with Soarer's converter with no problem.  I read somewhere that the DIP switches can be used to set the keyboard ID, but functionally they don't make any difference.

afaik, the 1385151 is the same as the 6110668, but the with more "modern" serial number and date.
