Has anyone had difficulty with SP DSA on Cherry stabilizers?

I have DSA keycaps, the Macross set, installed in a board with Cherry stabilizers with no issues at all.

spacebar was slightly warped, so i had to push down hard and make sure boths ends caught properly.

but that's an installation only issue and not a daily use problem.

A hot water bath for 10 minutes and some bending may fix that issue easily.

I read somewhere that cherry stabs are smaller...

I don't have a caliper on hand to check though.

Cherry stabs rock! No sqeak, no rattle, no binding, no fiddly bits on the keycaps and can be "clipped" to remove the "soft" bottom out. Awesome.

Had a problem with it initially but managed to fix it.

Was sticky at first. Flipped it, still sticky. Changed to heavier spring, still sticky. Tried hot water and flattening it, much much better. which is what I'm using now but just not as good as it was when stock

That sounds like ultra-sensitivity to keycap variations.

Cherry stabilisers are known for being sensitive to variations in keycap shape - sounds like these DSA ones are just more so.

That is one strong argument for Costar stabilisers - the inserts are free to move slightly along the stabiliser arms, and thus Costar stabs are more forgiving of imperfectly shaped keys.

Yeah looking at the design of cherry stabs I have to agree with this. They're forced to move in a very fixed up-down motion within their sockets

I have tried DSA caps with both types. The Poker X has PCB mounted stabilizers, and the FC660M has plate mounted ones. Both have no issues at all.
