White Mechanical Keyboard with Red Switches? (tenkeyless)
« on: Wed, 11 June 2014, 13:56:28 »
Hey Guys,

I'm really new to this forum, but I thought this was a good idea to find the perfect keyboard for me.
So I actually have a Logitech G710+ and want to buy a better mechanical keyboard for gaming and typing. I actually want to get a white keyboard, because it would fit perfectly into my room design. So I decided myself for the Noppoo Choc Mini (white version (pbt or something)). I actually prefer the Cherry MX-Red Switches, because of the linear and light feeling of them. I actually am not able to find this version somewhere on the internet. Maybe someone of you in this forum has an idea, or knows some websites where I can find something like that. Also I looked up for the Keycool 84 (also the white version of course :) ).

Greetings Kungen

Hey buddy and welcome  ;D

I found this on ebay:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Leopold-FC660M-Mechanical-keyboard-Cherry-MX-Red-switches-W-White-body-/300976984378?pt=PCA_Mice_Trackballs&hash=item4613a0513a

Leopold is a good brand, its all white case, plus cherry reds. Also, the seller is qtan who is well known and reliable  :thumb:

Thank you,

but this one actually has the F1-F12 keys on the numbers to enable them with the function-key, what I think is uncomfortable, because I use them so often and don't want to press an additional key everytime. I mostly use them in some games, that I play. So they are important too. But something like that is, what I am looking for.
Greetings

If you need the function row you may consider a TKL or a Choc mini 84.

I already mentioned the Choc Mini in the first post, but I don't like the Ducky keyboards, because they are always really expensive and not really that what I want  :'(. I also don't know that much about these keyboards, I just really know what the one I need should look and be like.

I'm not sure how common they are but I believe filco came out with a white board which uses mx reds.

You could go with a vortex Race II. I have a white one with reds on it and it is awesome!

You could always just get any TKL board and get white caps then paint the bezel/case. .-.

I have KeyCool TKL white with MX red.  It is really white, not off-white.

Noppoo choc mini and keycool 84 with cherry mx switches are not in production now, so guess they are hard to find.
But keycool 87 white tenkeyless in PBT with cherry mx switches are still available.
