Some of my ergoclears feel sticky?

Hey guys! I recently built a KMAC 2 w/ lubed and stickered ergo clears and I think I might have screwed up a bunch of switches because I am noticing that certain switches feel strange in that they have an extra click towards the bottom. I think it is the sticker getting stuck or something along those lines. Also, some keys feel lighter and much easier to bottom out and on top of that the spacebar is overly loud. Do I need to desolder to fix this? Has this happened to anyone else? I want to know I am not alone here. And for the record I do not think stickers were worth it... AT ALL. They have caused me so much time and heartache for an undetectable difference. Thanks for any help!

What springs did you use for the mod? Some of the lighter cherry springs have been known to cause problem with clear stems, additionally if you lubed them with a thick mixture, it could be the reason why they're getting stuck. I would say 62g Koreans would be the minimum you would need to avoid all the headache (Though I've heard of people using lighter). If you applied the stickers the correct way then I doubt they would be the problem, there is hardly any material from the stickers in the actual housing components.

You probably didn't center the sticker properly, and the action of the slider is "nicking" it as it goes down and up.  See if reseating the sticker fixes the problem.

That's correct, you'll have to desolder the switches that have the problem.

Not quite sure how this would have happened, though, since the slider is quite far from any sticker part if they're insalled correctly. Here is a reference pic from Deskthority:



After they've been installed, the switch top will press in the bottom area a little and they'll look more like this when you open them up again:
