I find it ironic that an industrial m has a crack....  ah yes very industrial indeed :))

For the record, following age-old sacred Craigslist tradition, a low ball offer has been sent. You'll never know.  ;D

I bought this keyboards younger sibling this year for USD 546.78 in a set of 3 keyboards: Terminal M122, 1390120, and 1388032
http://www.ebay.com/itm/161198400044
It was in terrible shape and was missing several keys.

Now it looks like this
70168-0
70170-1

I am not sure if it is really worth USD 800 with a crack in the back. But it is for sure the oldest PC compatible Model M that I know of.
I searched the net before I bought mine and could only find one November 1985 1388032. I think it belongs to webwit (DT).
Code: [Select]
/*pz*/char p[]=" ELPRTWZ";unsigned z[]={553179788,1641},
_=14;main(){while(_--)putchar(p[z[_/012]>>3*(_%10)&7]);}

But then of course there is always a bigger fish.
Or in this case an even older Model M 1386303 keyboard.
The IBM Model M terminal keyboards only need a passive converter to be used on a PS/2 connector.

there was one older one I know of that sold on eBay for $NOPE. It was also in fantastic shape.

Check out that serial number!

I'm not convinced that this is the case.

I've always wanted one of them, but they always go for more than what I like to pay (more than $30 :p )
