Is this a real DAS keyboard?

I found this on eBay when I was deciding
whether or not I should wait for the Filco blue cherries
from elitekeyboards or I should just get a DAS keyboard 3 Ultimate.

Then I found this on eBay.

That looks awfully similar to a Model M.

I remember reading the history of it, and it was a relatively small thing. The guy made a blank board and it greatly improved his touch typing skills. He got a lot of interest from his friends, so he started mass manufacturing them. I'm sure after the success of the first, he had enough money to rebranded the Chery G80-3000 for his second (das II). Then had Costar mass manufacture the third (das Ultimate). All of them came with no legends, and the third was the first time you were able to the buy the keyboard with inscriptions on the keys

hahaha what's wrong with the DAS 3 Ultimate? I was thinking of getting that since it has blank keytops.

The only notable keyboard I have is a cherry g80-3000, which is apparently the same board as the Das II, the Das guys just rebranded it.

I saw on reddit that the Das I is just a rebranded version of this board:

I don't think that blue tenkeyless will cost you more than Das III. Afterall it's same keyboard as other tenkeyless Filcos with different but similarly priced switches.
I guess we will know the exact price pretty soon!

I had heard before that it was just a glorified rubber dome, even though it still caught on with the blank keys

Look up Keytronic E03600U1 (or U2), that might well be it. The shape is a pretty good Model M copy btw.

Hardware in signatures clutters Google search results. There should be a field in the profile for that (again).

This message was probably typed on a vintage G80-3000 with blues. Double-shots, baby. :D

I still have mine in a closet. It had multiweighted keys but it was nothing more than a rubber dome keyboard.
