Odds of this Xerox board having Brown Alps?
« on: Wed, 16 July 2014, 20:00:09 »

I stumbled across this board the other day and, at first, thought I might get lucky with some Hirose switches and another MX Lock since some of the older Xerox boards had them.  After a little more research, I stumbled upon Deskthority thread that had a board that looked more like the one I'm grabbing.

Anyone have experience with these older Xerox boards?  While a surprise is nice, sometimes it's also nice to have an idea before it arrives.

If your board has brown alps I'd be surprised as brown alps are uber rare... and very heavy too.

In that case, fingers crossed and hope and a prayer that it does.
