DIY digicam stuff

Something I did at work for my Powershot S5 IS:

It`s a LED Ring I made to take macro pictures etc...
Its made of aluminum (lathed) and has 16 white "wide angle" LEDs (iirc ~2000mcd per LED).
I also made a rail with power supply (the silver box on the right) which includes 4x AAA akkus and a ON/OFF switch.

Yes, I work as mechanic/machine-operator/more and have access to lathes, milling machines, column drills, etc.
And my boss allows me to do some private work when I have nothing else to do. :)
