Any word on QFR Red availability?

I'm looking to put together an inexpensive fully programmable MX Red TKL setup and I'd like to go with a QFR Red + bpiphany's Frosty Flake replacement controller. My only issue is that they're absolutely nowhere to be found. It seems like a lot of places have them on backorder with some indefinite delivery date.

Have these boards been discontinued? And if they are making a comeback will they use the same Costar design?

Doh. They haven't been removed from the main CM website so I was still holding out some hope.

They are slow.  The MX Black QFR has been discontinued for almost 6 months now.
