I'm in as you know Hoffbro. And I think 12pm - 6pm would be good. I'm sure we'll end up doing something after too (read as: get frozen custard).

What if I showed up a little early and made creme brulee?  Then we wouldn't have to leave.  I can even bring me own kitchen torch.

Creme Brulee goes with ice cream....everything goes with ice cream ;)

I'm okay with everything above.  :D

And just an FYI, I live 0.7 miles from a great little ice cream place.  ;)

So I am planning on running some cheese through my smoker for the meetup.

Would anyone have any requests.

I frequently do cheddar, swiss, baby swiss, provolone, colby jack, pepper jack, mozzarella, and parmesan.

That's a great selection, sounds awesome. The only cheese I've ever tasted smoked before is gouda.

Why don't you move here to Wisconsin so you can live closer to Hoff as well as have as much smoked cheese you will ever want

And the cheeses are damn good, too!  I sampled some when I stopped by Melvang's place today and they're quite tasty.   :thumb:

Hoff you can update my status as for sure unless something comes up that is unexpected though highly unlikely. I hope you don't mind if my wife comes along since I can't drive currently.

Is there a for sure time or is it just pretty much whenever to 6pm as that was the only time that seemed remain fixed.

I've tentatively set a time of 1-6pm.  No one commented with a preference, so I wasn't sure what to go with.  It is, of course, an open door policy, and you can come and go as you please.  ;)

Wait I thought I was the wife Hoff 😢

You got me sold there.  I may have to bring my signature desert.  I have cheese smoked for the event as well.  We will have to see now how much survives the week in this household.

Believe me I know.  I have killed my share of salmon in WI, mostly around the Manitowac and Two Rivers areas.  Brought many cheeses back home on those fishing trips.  The one I remember the most was the fudge cheese, or was it cheese fudge??  Either way I will be bringing smoked cheese, along with a signature baked good.  I will give two hints.

It is cooked in a 9x13 baking dish, I believe I have posted the recipe here on GH.

Probably cheese fudge, that's what I had when I got some.  Really good stuff.

And I will be making a dessert as well, so we can all eat terribly like kings when you guys are here.

Clicky alps.  I keep hearing how much more tactile they are from clears but the only alps I gave are the tamened creams in my AEK II.

Trying alps would be awesome. Also is anyone bringing a topre board? I'm bringing my poker II, Lightsaver, and project 42%.

exitfire is probably bringing his Kingsaver, as he's driving, but I can't confirm that.

CBA, I vote Kingsaver, but my vote doesn't really count.

I have HHKB, and will probably have my FC660C back by this weekend, so people can experience the cup rubber in all its glory.

Ok, exitfire is bringing his Kingsaver with complicated Blue Alps. Unless there's a real want for two Kingsavers at the meetup or someone wants to see something else of mine, I'm going to just bring my 6019284. It's less stuff for me to deal with while I'm flying.
