I split the kits. Each kit would be in the $35 range, the blue ISO enter $15.

Is there still interest?

Splitting the kits unfortunately makes me a lot less interested. I was in for the blue 1.75 enter for my JD40 and some novelties. Having to buy a mods kit for the enter and the other kits for the novelties makes it a lot harder to justify.

Oh in that case put the half heart in the kit with the blue enter and I'll be a very happy person lol

I would be in for the text pack. I really want the 1.75u escape and the hyper/meta keys people mentioned before - but some novelty keys would make it even better.

If the split kit opens up more room for additional keys I'll suggest my two ideas again. A SysRq key for monolegend people would would prefer that over PrintScr (which actually has a use on linux systems) and maybe a few other geeky keys, but I can't think of much beside the classic "Code" key. I laughed at the idea of a "I'm feeling lucky" button that was bound to your compiler (since it never works the first time), however, I am pretty sure that it is too much text to fit on a single 1u cap :(

That's pretty rough. If it was part of the bigger GB I wouldn't mind paying another 35$, but since it's an extra buy there will be shipping & taxes again.

Will probably pass :(

"ANY KEY" generally suits the joke better since the instructions are usually written "Press any key" instead of "Press the any key". If they instructions were press the any key, then having an "Any" key would make sense.

The half heart is one of the only keys I want from these sets. If you're willing to part with it, I'm sure we can work something out.

Unfortunately you just missed R2. It ended last week. The set currently being discussed are just lost and found keys for it, which will be distributed separate from the rest of the granite.

Is there really any demand for that Anonymous mask key? I seriously loathe that symbol and all the neck beards that fawn over it. Surely something like the bitcoin key from R1 is a better choice?

Hi Matt3o
Mailed XDA today and just got a mail back.
They told me that it was okey to use it :)

If you want i can send the mail conversation to your email.

If you can include this icon I would be insanely happy :D

Kind regards

Regardless, I still think there heaps of better choices out there. I'm sure I'm not the only one who, despite its historical significance, can only ever associate that symbol with images/people like this.

Your mental associations are understandable, but I don't think it should be dismissed on that basis. I rather like the symbol, and its other various meanings.

So I'm very new here and sorry for the off topic but I just wanted to say the way disputes are handled on this forum are so mature and well thought out that it throws me off.
I guess it's pretty sad that seeing people act polite on the internet seems so unusual.

The mask itself is from V for Vendetta, the original comic and later the (superb) film adaptation.  So the symbol has some genuine geek roots.  Anonymous stole it rather recently and their use of it has been dubious at best.  If you still can't disassociate armed with this knowledge, well... that sucks.   :(

That's a pretty great one.

Unrelated to Granite, this gives me an idea for a retro keyboard inspired by a soviet missile launch computer. Think Metro 2033. The enter key could be "Launch" and esc "Abort", and all the keys that annoying pseudo-cryllic for latin alphabets (and maybe real Cyrillic Russian if anyone is into that)..
