Cleaning White caps.

Total noobie question.

I have a couple of Ducky Shine keyboards and they both have a mixture of red and white keycaps. I have noticed that the white keys get very grubby particularly the WASD keys.

I have tried soap and water and soaking in water with a couple of denture tablets overnight but although they are better they are not as clean as I would like.

Any suggestions on getting the keyscaps sparkling clean?

I have used denture tablets to good effect on some rather dirty Model M keycaps.

Overnight is a bit long - did the water turn brown?  Mine did after about 15 minutes.

Maybe try repeating the process, using warm water and leaving them in until the water turns clear (or brown, depending on how dirty they are).

You can also use, say, an old toothbrush to scrub the surface of each one a few times to remove stubborn dirt.

dawn dishwashing soap + water.  soak the keys in them for an hour then wipe clean.

You can try to use a towel with some soap water to clean it first, then use denture tablets.  this how I clean my pbt caps, but I am not sure how well does it works with abs

i've tried some plastic refurnishing chemicals, the worked pretty well for whitening yellow caps

I put them in a water bottle with water and 2 denture tabs. Shake for 2 minutes. Rinse off, dry in sun.

For really stubborn stains, I like the Magic Eraser.   But try it on a cap that doesn't matter first.
