Was there ever a buckling spring version in this form factor?
My 122 key Model M was born on July 25th, 1988.

Yes, there's the "Space Unsaver".

There were several PNs with various differences due to the terminals that they were designed for, and there was even one that is an M type. 1387033 is definitely the one everyone wants though since it can be easily converted via Soarer's and is CapBS.

I have one of these. It has a build quality like an F, very solid with a metal barrel plate,  but it is still a rubber dome at heart.

It uses quality honeywell domes, if I recall.

Also plate mounted domes are usually rather nice. I think it's part of why everyone likes topre so much.

I think samwisekoi got one as well and liked it.

I'll have to do some looking, but if you replace the keycaps and dome sheet (with hammers / springs) you can probably make this buckling spring and save a lot of effort cutting the case of a 122-key down to size.
