BSP is a company that makes Cherry profile thick PBT keycaps. They look identical to original Cherry dyesubs in profile, although there are subtle differences in the moulds. BSP have recently stopped doing dye sublimation. They now only do it for ML keycaps. I don't have a source for this, but it's what I understand to be the truth.
BSP
would be awesome, since they have the ability to basically reproduce original Cherry dyesubs which are considered by a lot of people to be the best keycaps available. However, there are some problems..
- They don't make spacebars.
- They don't make scooped F&J keys (some people aren't too bothered about this)
- Their right shift is messed up. It's thin, it's a few mm too short, and it's really bendy. It looks out of place.
- They've had some QC issues. Crooked stems, etc.
They also don't do 'modern' layouts as has been mentioned. Overall, yeah they're good keycaps, but they're far from perfect. I would honestly recommend GMK or imsto over them, but then again.. I haven't owned a full set before.
next to OG cherry ones.
General consensus is :
OG>>>>>BSP=imsto
