My coolermaster 212 does not interfere with my RAM at all. I used to use it on my old build with OCZ "reaper" RAM with massive height issues.

Most modern 1155 and AM3 builds have the RAM slots close enough to the socket to cause problems, even with the Hyper 212. I would have haf issues with tall RAM like that on my last AMD setup and my current i5 setup.
I just refuse to support companies that try to cause vendor lock in, like they did with their mITX case.
I think this was for an AM2/AM2+ processor at the time, and besides you can just put the fan on the other side. My current setup is LGA 1155 (intel 3470) and even with the fan on the RAM side, there's still enough room for RAM in the first slot at any height. My current RAM (G skill) fits, and it's tall enough to go up past the bottom of the fan.
Anyway, I hate vendor lock in as well, but I'm not sure that this is an example of it.
