As far as I can make out the Kbtalking one was a custom design for the kbtalking community, I don't know if they sell them or whether it was a one time thing. Anyone who can actually read chinese feel free to correct me though. It is very similar to the Gigabyte GK-K8000, although that one only comes with linear MXs as far as I know.

I think the KBTalking board is still in production. The original release was planned in 2006 or early 2007, but the boards got stuck in production due to cherry being unable to deliver the switches to the Taiwanese company. Lots and lots of drama.. I think we had some Taiwanese guy here on the board who was telling the full story. I believe they are still being made now (again?) and can be ordered at various Taiwanese sites.

Not too long ago there was a massorder on some big Singaporean forum directly from Taiwan. I tried to find the OEM for a while now, but no luck so far.

Regarding the color keycaps in the first link.. they might be dyed even though the colors look too bright for that. There are some guides on how to dye keys using clothing-dye on KBDMania. I have ordered the dye they used and had a Korean friend translate the basic instructions. Will eventually post my keycap dye results on here whenever the colors arrive.

PS: I love how that Rainbow Zebra board says "SPECIAL for child.. or anyone", hah.

Someone at Deck must be a comedian - "You've got a big deck" on the packaging?  How subtle.

The metallic badge is optional; you can stick it wherever you like or leave it in the package.  The windows key is from what i've seen replaced with an acorn symbol.  I don't think that having a squirrel on a keyboard is any more peculiar than having a piece of fruit on there.

I don't assume the person who made that designed it for one of these perchance?

Taking it too far?  Nah, that's probably what he's gonna have for his dinner, suitably laced with MSG of course.  The next global pandemic will be squirrel flu *sigh*.

That was my thought as well, although I'd prefer the owl personally as I remember using a BBC Microcomputer in school (well, planning granny's garden on it anyway).

I remember that.  It would be such a treat to be able to play on the school computer for just fifteen minutes back then.  Kids today are so morose despite not having to tolerate ugly graphics and MIDI music.

I can't believe Ripster posted this photo without mentioning someone putting a nut on his keyboard.

damn

I know it's a necro-bump, but damn that's a sweet board. I'd have it in black though. I'd love to see it with the cap/num and scroll lock on. The lights on the keys remind me of the light on the Fractal Design. It'd go nice with one.
