looking for a black&white color schemed mouse
« on: Thu, 04 September 2014, 04:13:27 »
I just discovered that I've been using acceleration on my windows options for the last 5 years  and since my mouse is quite old, I'd like to try one without any acceleration (software and hardware). For now my choice would be the Steelseries Rival, with LEDs set to white. I'm looking for a black&white themed mouse because of the rest of my setup. Apart from the Steelseries Rival, I haven't seen any black&white mouse with a perfect sensor. Do you guys know of a mouse with the same characteristics?

Side buttons and scroll wheel made in white color
On the bottom, its all white
Very good looking imo

Seconding this, as it'll be your best bet other than the Rival.

Steelseries Kana. it's an optical mouse so it has no acceleration. It's the mouse I've been using for 2 years and I love it!

Steelseries Kana. It's more like white and black rather than black and white lol. But it's an optical mouse so it has no acceleration. It's the mouse I've been using for 2 years and I love it!

Since this is geekhack, let me suggest that you just look for a good mouse first. You can always paint that mouse later.
Most of the modding can be done on your own once you break through the psychological barriers.

If you don't mind a little red in there, too, the Mad Catz RAT TE has a black / white version: http://store.madcatz.com/categories/mice-category/Mad-Catz-R-A-T-TE-Gaming-Mouse-for-PC-and-Mac.html
