[Ebay UK] Compaq 386 keyboard, is it anything interesting?

Link.

It's old enough that it could be something interesting and it looks nice, but can any identify what it is or comment on what it's like?

On Sandy's website, there is an old Compaq board that uses capacitive switches. It doesnt look like that one, but maybe that's what they used back then in their boards?

compaq  enhanced II
3 variations are available. two are  here:
http://www.hi-ho.ne.jp/vine/keyboard/enhanced2/index.htm
One is capacitive type supplied by HP and the other is membrane by either Matsu****a or NMB.
Another one is also capacitive supplied by keytronic.  All three are identical, I mean same body. cable is detachable and it uses same SDL plug like M.

Enhanced III

membrane, fixed cable.

I can't ID the one on eBay. If it actually came with a 386 machine, then it might be any of Enhanced II.  model number is marked on back label and actual manufucturers name is also designated on the label.

On those pictures you've linked the Enhanced II ones have lock lights on the keys while the Enhanced III has them near the logo. Is that a version difference or a regional difference?

As usual, I shan't be bidding so if it is capacitive it might be a nice keyboard for someone.

Good point!

I think it's a version difference. and the one on eBay with LEDs near logo might be Enhanced III.
