In retrospect, i wish I had picked something that sounds a little less 16 year old kidish, but I'm just a big hockey fan in general and I always had a hard time coming up with usernames for forums so I just went with something relatively simple.

mine is derived from the VCO (Voltage Controlled Oscillator) in the old analogue synthesizers. it's a music related thing, since I'm an amateur musician and all.

Mine is a nickname I got in college, nubbins, plus the shorthand for my first name and some more.  When I messed something up or did something, it was sometimes referred to as nubbinsing or nubbinating.  I just took that and turned it into nubbinator.

Or its origin.

I have no idea. I can't remember when I first used it, as it wasn't Runescape back in 2005, but it's my steam name which I've had for about 7 years... It might be from EVE actually. Maybe a randomly generated surname from there, and I went with the Russian sounding theme on all my subsequent accounts.

If you go on most other forums/games and find a guy called katushkin/katushkin89/IamKatushkin then it's probably me. I have no idea what it means though. But if I google it I get a Russian company that I have no idea what it does...
Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?

Inanis is the Latin translation of "empty". It can translate into quite a few other English words and phrases as well, as most Latin words do, but they are all of a similar vein.

I'm bald. I put something like "head burned by sun" into a Elvish name generator on the web, and got Findecanor.

Edit:
I think that it means more literally "sun shouts at hair" in Sindarin.
Findëcano is the name of a Elvish king in the Silmarillion.

My name should be pretty easy.

I was given this name by a good friend 10 years ago. It comes from my last name and meister. It's really complicated.

It also means hoff, man of mystery. Apparently.

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

When I was in 8th grade I was introduced to a band called Against Me! by a friend and got hooked. They have a song called "Mutiny on the Electronic Bay", and at some point I needed a screen name and shortened that to mutinyonthebay. Some kind of pirate/skull&bones was always my avatar. Used it forever until someone else had taken it on some forum or in some game or something. Replaced mutiny with riot. Now I usually pick between the two.

Against Me! Is one of my personal favorites. Hurray for good music! Searching for a Former Clarity is probably my favorite album.

It helped as well that I was growing up in Gainesville, so I got to see them live a half dozen times.

Gainesville Rock City?
Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?

mine is just a little twist in my real name, just replaced c by z

Are you some descendant of the guy who created all that organ and keyboard music?

Mine's obvious and avatar matches. And Berserk's no ordinary manga; it's got larger than life characters who really mean something. From a religious point of view I do subscribe to what the character Gutz's all about.

Most of the modding can be done on your own once you break through the psychological barriers.

Mine's from an episode of Digimon Adventures.
The horrific English dub, of course.
