Hey people!
« on: Thu, 02 October 2014, 14:19:42 »
Hey guys, I'm glad to be joining such an awesome community! Ive been lurking around for a while, and finally decided "What the heck, might as well join up"!  While I'm not new to mechanical keyboards, and currently own 3 mainstream keyboards (Blackwidow Ultimate 2013, Logitech G710+, CM QFR w/ blues) and a nice Leopold TKL with reds, I'm just starting to get into modding, so maybe you all can help me out there!   ;)

Also, I'm saving up for a GONs keyboard, so I expect to be on that forum as well!

Thanks for welcoming me in folks! Cheers! :)

Welcome to GH :) Get stuck in with modding - if you get stuck, drop me a pm ;)

And - buy all the GONs you can. They are nice.
I got boards.

Welcome to Geekhack!

A nice range of keyboards you have - do they all have MX blue switches?

An offer of modding help from margo, as generic as it might have been, is not to be taken lightly :)
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
